about

Wandering into something unknown, we have found the world full of harmony and unique timbres. The world that is Zen.

We would like to present you Zen EP, our latest release that sends you into the parallel world full of chromatism, music theory, colourful tones and chord voicings that were crafted by a long distance project, Synergy Sound. These chords and tones have different taste and you gotta try them all to understand what it's about, just like a coloured multi-flavoured candy.

The title track Zen is really special for us and the music community, Synergy Sound's collaborative effort with Night Owl Collective owner Jonny Pearson, that bids farewell to his previous alias, Jonny Ha$h, with his final track under this name as a collaboration is really special and shows how impactful Jonny's legacy is to the entire electronic music community and how collaborative he is, opened to everyone and dedicated to what he is doing. Punchy amen breaks, wet vowel-y neuro basses, impeccable atmosphere, chromatic modulations and chordal tensions create a new blend that you must try. As if two projects merged into one, it doesn't sound out of place, in fact, everything sounds intentional, as if it has been like this for a while.

Continuing beyond, Labyrinth, Dreaming and Spark, show us the true colours of this mini-album. In traditions of classical Synergy Sound style, taking influences from all the different places in electronic music community, Synergy Sound create their own movement, their progressive take on what neuro-influenced chillout should be, combining acoustic, funk, jazz and other inclusive elements of electronica, including euclidian rhythms, breakbeats and polyrhythms, heavily relying on foley sounds and percussions, the EP is as organic as it can get, adding seamless transitions into other tracks, this one seems like one perfect adventure to embark on.
