Endo BEYOND stoked for my buddy Leon with this LP. Some of the most fantastic work I've heard not only from him but just in general. Favorite track: Afterlife.

about

Leon Ross - Seasons

It could never been more appropriate to release this album on the
split of spring and summer, 4th of May. We are welcoming our new
talent, Leon Ross to our roster with a unique take on "painting a
landscape and beautiful scenery with sounds" type of concept, Seasons.

We are starting with a smooth take off - Bliss, Tequila and Summer.
Experimental Hip-Hop beats, glitchy cuts, vaporwave vibes and
beautiful saxophone legatos instantly take us into the scenery of
sunset at hot summer time. Feeling bliss while drinking tequila
witnessing the sunset, how more... aesthetic it could get?

Continuing the cycle, we enter the forest of red and yellow leaves
floating around, strong winds and frequent raining. Serene,
hypnotising and astonishing timbres of Scarlet Oak, Equinox and
Autumn, combining garage, ambient and pop elements into one bring a wholesome experience of witnessing small details of nature during this peaceful time.

A smooth transition from autumn to winter, white snowflakes surround
us and take us away to snowfield of nowhere, putting mother nature to
rest, into it's afterlife, where she would be reborn. Transparent,
Afterlife and Winter do this job successfully, taking things from
alternative rock, folk, idm and contemporary soundtrack to give us a
new flavour to this already diverse album.

The time moves forward and we witness the great revival of Mother
Earth, her blooming, her breathing, her tears... we start to get
confused as the cycle begins again, as if the time has reset for us...
Confusion and Spring bid us farewell and move us forward in time, to
something grand...

"The idea behind this LP overall is quite simple. Over the past five years, I’ve accumulated significant material that ended up just sitting away in my archives. Pieces that were about ninety-percent done. A big thing that led me to this release was a concept I hold close.
As artistic individuals, we pull influence from any sensory data around us. This could be other music, films, or in this case; a seasonal shift. Each piece in this album marks a special moment in my life and one of the biggest influences I can hear throughout is the place and time of year.
However, I’m a strong advocate for people listening with an open mind and open perception, leading to their own personal subjective interpretation.
Let your mind wander." - Leon Ross
