Two people with outstanding musical composing skills meet to craft a stunning scenery.

Today we proud to present a continuation of what we established with Leon Ross' release Seasons back in 2018. Joined by the amazing Paul van Nimwegen also known as Poseidon, who has been making some serious noise around with his appearances on different labels and showcasing his skills in different electronic genres, including contemporary soundtrack, we present to you Leon and Paul's new project, something of a bigger scale than their usual stuff: Fade.

What makes Fade so special is the unusual blend of genres you wouldn't expect from a regular release: eclectic electronica, experimental trap, IDM and soundtrack, with the bit of drum and bass / neurofunk, folk, indie rock / grunge rock and new age spliced in just for that beautiful experience that is this EP. The theme of Fade comes from nature, abstract-to-concrete design in music, freedom and transformation, that we can track across the entirety of this piece: each individual track represents different flow and movement of ideas around the established structure of the album, morphing between elements, combining it into a dialog of some sort, building a call and response between the individual elements. As composers, Leon and Paul understand perfectly how to craft a picture / a soundscape that showcases the concepts that they were bearing in their head for a while.

With the addition of the remix from our good friend ÆTERNA, which is built around the same view of metamorphosis between forms of music, with that bite of sick swingy halftime groove and incredible sound design from his vision of Hazel Grove, the incredible six-pack is now complete. All you have to do is to press play.
